Clothing Organization

I’m very lucky that my baby has lots of clothes. But how do you keep them all straight?

Our Mommy MD Guide’s reply: My husband and I didn’t find out we were having a girl until our baby was born. Once we announced that, our friends and family started to bring us all of this baby clothes! People love buying baby clothes, so they keep coming!

About a week after our daughter was born, my husband and I bought a bunch of plastic storage containers at Walmart. We put all of our daughter’s three- to six-month clothes into one bin, six- to nine-month clothes into another bin, and so on. We put all of the bins into our daughter’s closet. As our daughter outgrows a size of clothes, we put it back into a bin. Then we put the bin in the basement. It’s amazing how quickly babies out grow the small sizes! She’s outgrown some zero- to three-month clothes already!
