An Interview with Dr. Hollier
What’s your favorite parenting tip? A parenting tip I offer to parents is to provide consistency for babies and children of all ages. It helps to establish routines, which may provide a greater sense of comfort and security when children know what to expect.
How do you eat well? Planning my meal schedule and using weekends to prepare meals and snacks for the week ahead helps me to be more successful in eating healthier. I always carry my own lunch, snacks, and refillable water bottle to work. This convenience helps me to avoid many food and beverage temptations!
How do you relax? After a long day of caring for children and their families, I recharge my batteries by taking time for myself where I can just rest, relax, and unwind. This typically consists of something as simple as taking a nap, going for a walk, or getting a massage.
