An Interview with Dr. Kramer
What’s your favorite parenting tip? Put your baby in her crib her first night home from the hospital, and always have her sleep in her own room.
What has surprised you most about parenting? How difficult it is to deal when your children have emotional difficulties—and other people expect you to have all of the answers.
How do you get your kids to eat healthy food? My kids are the best eaters: I put healthy food in front of them from the beginning, they see me eat healthy foods, and we eat family dinners.
How do you work exercise into your family’s life? We’re an active family. WE love to go to the beach, hike, ski, surf, snowboard. I think the key is getting gout and running around and teaching your kids to do what you love to do.
How do you recharge your batteries? I play tennis, run and practice yoga. I have some time now when I’m not working and my kids are in school, and I make excercise a priority. The laundry can wait!
