Sleep, Training

Did you sleep train your toddlers?

Our Mommy MD Guide’s reply: One of the biggest challenges when my kids were toddlers was sleep. None of them were good sleepers. The most helpful thing I did was learn how to fall back to sleep quickly after one of them woke me up! I adapted because I had to.

I also read the book Solve Your Child’s Sleep Problems by Richard Ferber, MD. Each time my children presented me with a new sleep challenge, I followed that book to the letter, and it always helped. It often required letting them cry it out, which was difficult to do. But it worked.
