My baby just caught her first cold. How did you treat your baby’s colds?

Our Mommy MD Guide’s reply:  We were blessed to not encounter any significant healthy issues during my baby’s first year, but she definitely caught colds. Our home treatment was nasal bulb suction. This is far easier to tell other parents to do, and harder to do to your own baby!

I did give my daughter Tylenol or ibuprofen for fever or if she seemed uncomfortable. (Talk with your baby’s pediatrician before giving this or any medications or herbal preparations.)
