What’s your favorite parenting tip? If you need a break put them in their bed and close the door. No child has died from crying.

Also, enjoy each stage because it only happens once. And be consistent, especially when you are tired.

What surprised you most about parenting? The most surprising thing about parenting is how easy it is to parent someone else’s child. It is so much harder when you are in complete control of the final out come. The personalities are so different and different techniques have to be used at different times.

How do you get your kids to eat healthy food? Don’t offer unhealthy food. Offer healthy food over and over again and show them how good it taste when you eat it. They eventually come around.

How do you work exercise into your family’s life? I run around with my boys.

How do you recharge your batteries? I meet with friends to knit and chat once a week.
